Infants learn by using their senses of sight, sound, touch, taste and
smell. Relationships and attachments with caregivers are equally important.
During the infant stage, children are unknowingly acquiring new skills and
awareness by exploring their environment and interacting with others.
Kiddiegarten values the enrichment of the infant classroom. Children interact
with multi-sensory materials in a predictable routine, helping them to acquire
order and awareness of their role in the environment. Surrounded by adults that
have a passion for working with infants, they are guided toward developing
trusting relationships that support optimal development through conversation,
music, books, touch, sensory exploration, tummy time, movement and the
exploration of the natural world.
