Toddlers are busy and full of curiosity. It is essential that toddlers have opportunities to move and engage in active learning. Work for toddlers involves problem solving, repetition, cause and effect, and testing boundaries. Toddlers have freedom of choice within a safe and engaging learning environment at Kiddiegarten School. A curious toddler is always learning. Toddlers need to learn from challenges with adults facilitating language in a positive classroom culture. Toddlers actively explore practical skill development, sensory exploration and exposure to early math, science and language concepts. Social interactions begin to evolve and adults guide toddlers through the complexities of conflict resolution and self-regulation so they can be successful in their academic pursuits. Toddlers begin to explore the arts, music and dance.
